Nationals starter Max Scherzer turned in the best-pitched game in the history of Eternal Baseball today, throwing a no-hitter with no walks and seven strikeouts in a 7-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals. "Mad Max" only threw 103 pitches in his masterpiece, and only Trea Turner's third inning error kept this from being the first Perfect Game in Eternal Baseball. The Nationals are much-improved in Season Three, and Scherzer's gem moves them just three game back in the National League East.
