When we created Eternal Baseball, we started with the 30 active MLB franchises, but knew we wanted to add two more so we could have 32 teams split into two leagues with four four-team divisions each. We decided to keep the Montreal Expos separate from the Washington Nationals, and to create the Birmingham Knights, a new team built with the legends of the Negro Leagues (like Satchel Paige and Josh Gibson). With the MLB regular season concluded, we are able to update the stats (and input the rookies) into the Eternal Baseball database in preparation for Season Four (which starts in mid-November).
