With the MLB regular season concluded, we are able to update the stats (and input the rookies) into the Eternal Baseball database in preparation for Season Four (which starts right after the MLB World Series finishes). Detroit returns to Eternal Baseball after missing the playoffs in Season Three, so there is unfinished business for Season Four. Let's take a look at the Tigers' all-time batting order. Here's how the Tigers starters rank, in order of peak ERA: Hal Newhouser (1.99), Ed Killian (2.10), Bill Donovan (2.19), George Mullin (2.39), Dizzy Trout (2.47), Hooks Dauss (2.61), Denny McLain (2.74), Tommy Bridges (2.79), Justin Verlander (2.80), Virgil Trucks (2.81), Mickey Lolich (3.07).

We're saving Mickey for the World Series. He'll be so well-rested he might be able to pitch all seven games (if necessary).
