With the MLB regular season concluded, we are able to update the stats (and input the rookies) into the Eternal Baseball database in preparation for Season Four (which starts right after the MLB World Series finishes). San Francisco returns to Eternal Baseball after winning the N.L. West in Season Three. Let's take a look at the Giants' all-time batting order. Let us know what you think - we always say we'll never know any team better than their die hard fans!

Awful lineup. McCovey batting 2nd? George Davis was a great baserunner, he can be up there. This would be mine: Davis, Terry, Mays, Bonds, McCovey, Ott, Mitchell, Kent, Posey

Willie McCovey's peak OPS of 1.029 is second on the Giants (behind only Barry Bonds) so we were trying to get him a little higher in the lineup than fifth, but there's definitely an advantage to having a base stealer hit leadoff.
