Since you ask for suggestions, here's mine:
The Dbacks have only one lefty pitcher on the active roster so there's not much wiggle room for strategic substitution, especially if an opposing team has a ton of good lefty bats.
I'm not sure if you're using '99-'01 Matt Mantei (3.45 ERA, 1.394 WHIP, 40 games and 39 innings projected) or '01-'03 Matt Mantei (3.25 ERA, 1.184 WHIP, but only 30 games and innings projected) but I think the team would be better served by having another lefty available in the pen.
I'd suggest replacing him with '17-'19 Andrew Chafin and maybe also replace one of the reserve arms with '21-'23 Joe Mantiply.
'17-'19 Andrew Chafin: 3.46 ERA, 1.337 WHIP, 75 games and 51 innings
'21-'23 Joe Mantiply; 3.51 ERA, 1.233 WHIP, 54 games and 46 innings
They're not world-beating numbers but neither are Mantei's and I think you need a second lefty arm in a world where Tony Gwynn, Barry Bonds, and Stan Musial are in your League.

We can absolutely get another lefty into Arizona's bullpen - Chafin and Mantiply look like a push statistically, although Mantiply has the opportunity to improve his stats next year where Chafin doesn't. Kyle Nelson is an option too if you like, even though he only has two seasons of service so far. Let us know the lefty you prefer and then we will figure out how to work him in - someone gets cut and someone gets demoted when we add a new player to the active roster.

Kyle Nelson is an excellent call. I'd forgotten how good he was last year since he fell off at the end of this past season. Let's run with him and see what happens.

OK we're all set - Kyle Nelson was added to Arizona's active roster, Drey Jameson moved to the inactive roster, and Doug Davis was released altogether. Thanks for the feedback!

Well the good news is Nelson was great in his Eternal Baseball debut. They're going to need him if Swindell keeps pitching like he has been But hey, Swindell did bring his ERA "down" to 12.27 in his last outing.
